Best Stay and Play Golf Holiday Facilities in Asia

Once in a while, it is important to relax and breathe a little after a long period of hectic work schedule. And one of the most popular forms of relaxation for busy business people who wants to keep an active lifestyle is embarking on golf vacations in different parts of the world.

In Asia alone, numerous locations that offer fuss-free packages for golf holidays began to be established in the region. This often means an early-morning departure to the course, a late afternoon return and a lot of wasted time before and after each round,” the travel expert stated.

However, Myers rounded up the top “Stay and Play” golf vacation facilities in Asia that golfers can choose to spend their gold holiday excursions.

For those who are planning to go to China to play golf, they can opt to stay at the massive Mission Hills resort in Haikou, Hainan. The facility offers over 500 luxurious hotels rooms along the largest mineral springs in the continent. Aside from its renowned spa centre, it also offers 10 golf courses that could satiate the most avid golfers’ craving for the sport for at least a week.

In the Shenzhen and Dongguan region, golfers may also find the new Mission Hills branches. The one in Shenzhen offers a renovated hotel built two decades ago while the modern hotel in Dongguan was inaugurated back in 2011.

Both five-star properties feature a wide selection of restaurants, spa and tennis facilities, as well as 12 golf courses within the compound that serve three different clubhouses. These golf courses were designed by some of the best golfers in the modern times, including Greg Norman, Jack Nicklaus, Nick Faldo, as well as Jose Maria Olazabal.

Another popular golf vacation facility in China can be seen in the Kunming province. The property, known as the Spring City Golf and Lake Resort, provides accommodation and clubhouse options in the area.

Aside from the Lake Course designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. that is known as the best course in the course in the country, the property also boast off a picturesque view over the late to help each golfers relax during their stay.

Vietnam also has several notable golf holiday facilities, including the Laguna Lang Co Golf Club in Hue where the exclusive Banyan Tree villas and Angsana hotel can be found. Others can opt to stay and play at the Danang Golf Club and The Ocean Villas in Danang, where the golf course designed by Greg Norman can be seen.

Meanwhile, Thailand also has several golf and accommodation facilities like the Banyan Golf Resort and Black Mountain Golf Club in Hua Hin, the Chiang Mai Highlands Golf and Spa Resort in Chiang Mai, as well as the Red Mountain/Loch Palm in Phuket. For those in Malaysia, they can opt to stay and play at the Sutera Harbour Resort in Kota Kinabalu.

Golfers can choose which golf facility would cater to their needs for a relaxing golf vacation.
